ATLANTIC INC. INTRODUCES AWARD-WINNING C4 COLLECTION: CD CASES DESIGNED WITH REAL STEEL FOR "TOUGHER THAN NAILS" DURABILITY
Chosen by CES to Receive a 2003 Innovations Design & Engineering Showcase Honoree Award
LAS VEGAS (Jan. 9, 2003) - Atlantic Inc., the leading manufacturer and distributor of media storage products, introduces the award-winning C4 Collection, the newest addition to its line of CD steel cases. Winner of a CES 2003 Innovations Design & Engineering Showcase Honoree Award, the C4 Collection is designed with actual steel and thermoset plastic materials to make it strong and durable enough to take the roughest treatment. Available in a variety of color combinations, the C4 Collection also features a high-viscosity hinge system that allows the user to open the lid 180 degrees with a touch of a button.
"Our customers with active lifestyles demanded a tough CD case that will stand up to whatever abuse they give it," said James Dardashti, Vice President and General Counsel, Atlantic Inc. "Whether mountain biking, camping or off-roading, our newest CD steel cases live up to the challenge. The C4 Collection is made with actual steel so that CDs are protected from the roughest bumps and falls."
In addition, unlike competing soft wallets, the C4 Collection better protects CDs, not just from breakage and scratches, but from the harsh effects of the sun. The cases' outer shell actually deflect the sun's rays to prevent favorite CDs from warping, something that often occurs when CDs are stored in a car.
The C4 Collection (MSRP $14.99) holds up to 24 CDs, DVDs or CD-ROMs and is offered in four color combinations including Titanium/Black, Black/Light Gray, Red/Black and Silver/Black. The Collection will be available in Spring 2003 at consumer electronics stores, record stores and mass merchant retailers nationwide.
