ATLANTIC INC. INTRODUCES ARCADE, EXPANDABLE MEDIA STORAGE THAT LOOKS AND FEELS LIKE REAL FURNITURE
Arcade Holds Up To 300 CDs or 200 DVDs While Still Maintaining the Design Integrity of the Living Space
LAS VEGAS (Jan. 9, 2003) - Most media storage is okay for a dorm or child's room, but many adults want something a bit more refined. Introducing Arcade, the expandable storage system that looks and feels like real wood furniture. Made by Atlantic Inc., the leading manufacturer and distributor of media storage products, the Arcade shelving unit provides music and movie lovers with an attractive way to store up to 300 CDs or 200 DVDs without sacrificing the design integrity of an entire room.
"We've had numerous requests to create a media storage unit that looks like a piece of furniture, but is still practical enough to hold a lot of CDs and DVDs," said James Dardashti, Vice President and General Counsel, Atlantic Inc. "The Arcade has accomplished this goal. In fact, we started designing the Arcade by thinking about it as an actual piece of furniture for the home and then re-sizing it to fit CDs and DVDs. The result is a beautiful piece that will fit well into any home environment."
The two-toned Arcade is covered with a high quality wood veneer in two trend setting colors: natural and walnut. Requiring no tool assembly, each shelving unit is completely adjustable to fit CDs, DVDs or a combination of both. Consumers can set up the Arcade as a horizontal or vertical unit, and can also expand the unit as media storage needs grow. The horizontal unit measures 66 inches wide, 7.75 inches deep and 20 inches high. The vertical unit measures 34 inches wide, 7.75 inches deep and 56 inches high.
Atlantic's Arcade expandable storage system holds up to 300 CDs or 200 DVDs and will be available in Spring 2003 at consumer electronics stores and mass merchant retailers nationwide.
